Who: Shirogane and Joji
What: Everyone's got to meet for the first time sometime. And maybe they can have an inadvertent team-up, too!
When: Evening of June 12th.
Where: Some pool hall somewhere in a seedier part of town.
There's nothing too special about this pool hall, as far as such things go. It's got a bar, it's got several pool tables with varying amounts of people around them playing pool, and the whole room is filled with a sort of smoky haze. (That just might be because they just finished putting out a small grease fire in the kitchen, though the manager would never tell.) There are also TVs mounted to various points on the ceilings. Most of them are playing sports games of some sort, but one is playing a news station. The news anchor is enthusiastically reporting on the Omegafriends, and this has attracted the attention of several brightly-colored individuals piled into a corner booth.
They're all dressed in brightly-colored shirts numbered 1 through 9, except for the one bald dude dressed all in white, and they're all carrying on about how they should soon go into action and how they could defeat the Omegafriends and how all they need to do is to just pick the very first bank, but they haven't really done much besides talk loudly. It's a group of would-be pool-themed villains, though right now? They're too lazy to do much beyond spew a lot of hot air.
Shirogane's playing pool all by himself at one of the tables, and every so often, he'll look over at them with some annoyance. He has yet to do anything, and he's currently the only person in the place who is completely by himself. Not that this seems to bother him.

A couple of the bikers knew him from earlier fights where he ended up the last man standing. They shifted to not look at him, instead to concentrate fully on their beers or pool cues. Joji frowned at the brightly colored men in the booth and then glanced up at the TV. Oh. That. He hoped the kids were doing well with the rescue and the challenge from that Devious person. He was here for an all together different reason.
"Hey," he said stopping in front of a small cluster of bikers. "Dick wants you to get your bikes before he trashes them."

That discussion about the bikes? That attracted the attention of one of the multicolored weirdos, and a guy in bright red with a big 3 on his chest marched on over there like he owned the world. "Hey! We'll take those bikes! And I mean take them."
A good supervillain squad needed sweet rides, after all. So this guy? He was just going to try to steal something that wasn't even there. The stupidity there caught Shirogane's attention for a moment, but he only rolled his eyes and kept playing.

Yeah, no. They weren't even in the league of named villains from home. They were at the goon level which meant that in Joji's mind, they weren't even worthy of him talking to them, let alone looking at them. The bikers however did not have that kind of experience.
"Hey! Butt out, freak! Those are our rides you're talkin' 'bout!"

"Outta the way!" A guy in black with a big 8 on his chest tried to shove Joji out of the way.
Shirogane looked over there, considered getting involved, and took another shot in his solo game. Eight ball, side pocket. He paused and considered the cue stick he was holding. It would do in a pinch, if things came to that...

It took a second for Joji to decide to stumble out of the way, reacting a second or two after getting shoved. There was a moment where the bikers looked at him instead of at the rapidly forming group of wanna be villains, waiting to see him do something. He straightened and the cracking sound of his knuckles could be heard before he took a step back, smiling slightly.
"Idiots."

"We can do more than drive! We're gonna conquer the world looking like this!" And the brightly-colored idiot puffed himself up like he honestly believed that. "What are you gonna do about it?"

He took a step back and caught one thrown biker, gave him a shake and tossed him back into the fight. It was going badly for the bikers, of course. It seems that the colored costumes were actually protective.

He decides he's wasted enough time and rushes at one of the multicolored morons. "Stay out of this, chump!" the guy in yellow grumbles as Shirogane takes a swing at him with that pool cue. Shirogane's moving like he's fought with this sort of thing as a weapon before, but the would-be supervillain he's fighting isn't going down as easily as the biker passed out on that pool table.

It was only when one of the colored guys decided to try to punch him that Joji took action. He punched him a couple times and then ducked out of the way, eyes narrowing in thought. So, he didn't have to hold back as much as he thought he should.

Before the thug can gloat over having made Shirogane back off, Shirogane slams a small crystal sphere down on the table. He then takes a shot with the pool stick, sending the sphere flying to slam into the thug. The thug gets hit right between the eyes, and the sphere goes ricocheting off into a corner.
Once the crystal lands in that corner, it waits a few seconds before turning into a mechanical wolf, which then lunges out and surprises another one of the colorful goons.

He really needed to do something about that, but after the fighting was over.
A pool cue was aimed for his head and Joji just lefted his arm to block it, sparks flying at the treated wood hit unearthly materials and snapped. As the goon stared at his cue, Joji high-kicked him in the head and looked around for more people to fight.

GaoWolf is lunging for another one. Robot wolf headbutts are surprisingly effective when applied to goon midsections.
The goons, for their part, are starting to doubt the wisdom of carrying on with this fight. They're starting to show signs of wanting to flee.

"I'm calling the cops in three!" he shouted over the din. Joji glanced that way and then went back to laying out the goons on his way for the door.

"I think we need to talk."

Joji wasn't going to run away from the pool hall, even when the police sirens started sounding in the distance. Running would just attract the officers faster than walking after all.

And there were the cop cars speeding around the corner. Joji turned to watch them go by and then shrugged as if the whole mess was none of his business. He then looked down at GaoWolf, holding out his artificial hand for the robot to sniff.
"I am curious... Most of the supers in this country have similar abilities, but yours seem to stem from something I've seen before. Have you heard the term Gaia Memory?"
no subject
"Gaia Memory?" Shirogane shook his head. "Never heard of it." He was also eyeing that arm of Joji's. "That have anything to do with your arm?"
