Just before Superman can turn around to deal with it, the cyborg is incapacitated. His eyes follow the blast back to it's source. Superman doesn't recognize him, but he did see something he recognizes: the symbol on his chest. He's seen it on the news before, on several other heroes. He'd have to ask about that when they were done here. For now, saving the city and everyone in it is a bigger concern.

"Thanks--"

Superman is cut off when one of the pterodactyl's slams into him, latching onto his back. It roars, rearing up and chomping down on his shoulder ... only to break a few teeth in the attempt. Clark turns as much as he can in it's grip, driving his elbow into it's face and knocking it loose.

"--for the assist." He finishes, looking over towards Ben before knocking the pterodactyl out of the air with a follow-up punch.
