[ Eas has been in town for a few days, and she's been spending most of it getting a feel for the area. Spots to target, local customs... Ugh, local customs. So much cheer and good will around, it's enough to make her sick. She's currently at the counter in the Rogue's Gallery, making further plans to her itinerary with the help of a tablet and an acceptable pub lunch. Just because she has to work with the likes of Stinkor doesn't mean she has to work where she can smell him.

Where to make her big debut? The bank? ...No, too obvious. Burger Shack? ...No, too... Westar. The high school? ...Not in summer. Of course, there's a more efficient way to get the answers she's looking for. She looks over at the nearest fellow suspicious character. Do they look like they'd know anything about the business of chaos and wicked deeds? And more importantly, do they look like they'd start trouble if she went up and asked? ]

[Venture Park]



[ Word has it that this is a popular spot for picnics and villain attacks alike. Seeing the local heroes fight in person would be a good move before starting off in her own campaign. And who knows, maybe she'll be able to tail one back to their base. Eas Setsuna can be found messing around with a deck of Tarot cards in the shade - if she wants to blend in, she'll need to take up an Earth hobby or two. ]

If you're trying to pick a dish, may I recommend the Crook and Shank? It's to die for, but perhaps not for a weak constitution.

[ Hats are of no import to a loyal subject of Lord Moebius. That said, he sounds pretty confident about... well, his knowledge of the local villain restaurant, sure, but with luck, that will extend to the general villain career. ]

[ Unfortunately, there's no villains to be found today -- well, not yet anyway.

There is, however, a basketball that comes flying over in Setsuna's direction -- thankfully, it comes bouncing to a halt before it can do any damage. It's immediately followed by Mato who runs over, looking both embarrassed and a bit panicky. ]

Aaah! Hi, hi! Sorry about that! It didn't hit you, did it?

[... Okay, what is a ten year old girl doing in the Rogue's Gallery, alone, at one of the many booths designed to look like it was a corner booth?

... Besides drinking an actually pretty decent-looking milkshake. And looking at Eas, almost bemused.]

[The incident started nearly as fast as it ended. A car suddenly driving off of the nearby road and onto the park, two police cars in pursuit as people dived out of the path of the vehicle...

... And there was one of Venture's local heroes from a different path. An outfit that reminded of something in between a cowboy outfit and motorcycle leathers, red hair, sunglasses covering her face, and jetting in via what looked to be some kind of jet-like tricks in her feet - no visible exhaust, but as she passed Eas, Eas could hear a low rumble from them, as if sound itself was pushing the girl along towards the vehicle.

Sonicheart quickly landed on the hood of the vehicle, shifting a hand. Eas could hear another low rumble, as a shockwave emanated from the land and slammed against the vehicle's tire. Then the other. The far skidded along its bumper to a stop after that, allowing the two police vehicles to catch up. Sonicheart then hopped off the car, now just yards away from 'Setsuna'.]

Is anybody hurt?

[Man, it sure is a nice day. Westar should probably be doing evil right about now, but he's not really feeling it. So rather than making monsters and wreaking havoc, he's just taking a nice walk while eating from a bag of potato chips.

[ Ugh, so careless. Might as well take her infiltration plan for a test run before risking it on someone important. Setsuna scoops up the wayward ball and presents it with her sweetest smile. ]

[ She taps her own face. Incidentally, she's totally lying. ]

[ A lucky coincidence! Shoot, if she'd been faster, she could have gotten herself in the middle of it, that would have been a good way to get the attention of this flashy individual... But that probably wouldn't have been worth the risk, and there's similar ways to make an impression. ]

Oh! I feel so...

[ For instance, staggering, throwing her hand to her forehead and swooning away in a dead faint. Or a fake one, anyway. Hitting the ground and not adjusting to break her own fall isn't going to be fun, but verisimilitude is important. ]

[Sonicheart obviously hears the girl's reaction and swoon. And, fortunately for Eas, Lori never did put medical scanners or anything in her visor, nor was she ever good at catching blatant bluffs - so she ran right over. The distance was too short to fly without slamming into the purple-haired young lady - that'd definitely end up in the tabloids. Better to run over and-

Oh, she hit the ground. From standing. Crap, that meant a concussion risk. Not good. Lori knew her medicine, time to use that... Quickly, she walked over. First step...]

[It sounded stupid, but it was the normal first step.]

Okay, she's breathing, she's just fainted. Head bump, but from six feet... Standard first aid would have her healing up quickly, but conveniently, Sonicheart was dressed for her superhero part right now.]

... Okay, no CPR needed. This oughta help.

[Quickly, Sonicheart opened her palms towards Eas, focusing one of the more useful tricks she had with her powers. Eas heard a single, almost musical note, seemingly coming from Lori's left palm... And another, hard to tell apart, from her right palm. The more important sensation she might feel, though, is a peaceful sensation - and less pain in her body in general.]
