Cat crawling
Shadow here has been doing nightly patrols, starting from the Sigma Spire which he now lived, and throughout downtown and west side. West side seemed to be the more small time crooks, which he honestly preferred because they tended to pick on folks who couldn't really take care of themselves. Slow weekend though, it seemed.
Otherwise his plans were simple. Enjoy the warm weather, spend a dubious amount of time watching Ben's DVD box set of Sumo Slammers, and maybe get some time in at the park.
1. Catch Shadow on a patrol in the older neighborhood or downtown. He won't say no to the company, but if you want to cause him trouble...
2. On Saturday night, Shadow sneaks into an arcade after it closes. Beats having to deal with the crowds. Also the constant problem of him being a lion and people generally being afraid of him. At least he's paying?
3. Shadow now has his own room in the Sigma Spire. Why is there faint mewing coming from behind the door?
4. There's a lion on the soccer field! There's a lion on the soccer field. And of course the teenagers and the mothers are not all to happy about it. You'd think he'd have a more positive public relationship by now. Worst thing is all he wanted to do was play some ball!

"You're not being very nice, y'know. Some superhero."

He starts off towards the park.

There was a path leading into the trees, and thankfully it was well lit. At the end of the path, an old vine covered well stood there.
"Here we are."

And the water in the well began to glow a bright golden hue.
"Come on. Jump in after me." And once he was up on the edge, he looked at her. Are you game? Or do you think it's some kind of trap? Because if he goes first he's going to be neck deep in it.

Where he lands is on a series of matresses, up ahead? A small underground town with shops carved into the stone, and the catacomb tunnel used as a street.

He starts town the path, looking for someone around who can do a decent demonstration.
By now Gwen would have probably noticed the tiny winged person buzzing around her head, sparkle dust falling all around near her. Fairy dust. Think happy thoughts.
Cackling gremlins ran around chasing each other, and a nearby pup gave away the position of some obnoxious ogres and gobies.
Him, he was going towards a well lit tent. An old woman with silver hair sat within.
"If Auntie Moira can't impress you, then you're gonna have to explain the fairies. And you can't say it's all aliens!"

That aside, he enters the tent, being greeted by a little old lady with long grey hair and big glasses. A very eccentric look all around.

She has no choice but to follow him.]
Hey, I was still talking to you.
[When she notices the old woman she feels bad for raising her voice.]
I'm sorry, he just keeps doing that.

"Of course he does. He's a cat." She says pointedly, then sitting back down behind a table. The tent smells of herbs and there's a put boiling on a hot plate behind her.
"What can I do for you, sweetie?" She says, to the two of them.
Shadow then glances at Gwen, then back to the witch. "Can you prove magic is real? To her? She keeps calling me an alien."

Meanwhile Shadow is just sitting there pouting a little. She was the one getting all uppity about magic not existing and now she's just going to leave.
Rrmhf.

How, how are you doing that?

Shadow has settled comfortable on a cushion, watching the exchange between the two women.

"Are you leaving or will you sit and have some tea?"
