[At one of the secret entrances to the Omegabase... or former entrances, anyway, you might see a red headed teenager staring at the stone wall]

Nobody told me it was supposed to be like this! Fine, I'll just blast it down!

[She pulls out a couple of chakrams (that look more like over-sized rings than anything dangerous...), and takes a stance as she points them at the obstruction]

Take this!

[Suddenly... a number of bombs (the typical black ball type, except missing the fuse) are shooting out from her now spinning rings. The projectiles explode against the stone on impact but, of course, this does nothing to help the situation... hopefully she didn't ruin the clue etched on the wall...]

Is this some kind of joke? Let me into the base right now! This isn't funny!

[Somebody wasn't around for when Lady Blue began her shenanigans... much less the announcement that something was going to happen]

[Evangeline responds... By suddenly raising a wall of ice to block the shots.]

Are you certain I even know?

[And Mint starts magicking up those bombs she was using earlier. Those things are designed for blasting through obstructions, so...]

Well, yes. I tend to do that.

[The part Evangeline isn't mentioning, is she tends to do that specifically to annoy people like Mint, who think that throwing impact explosives at a master martial artists is going to work, and not be met by, for example, casually sliding between each explosive as it's thrown until she's right in Mint's face.]

So I'll just tell you straight: I've got no clue where she went with the base, or how she stole it.

[Mint hops back, not willing to stay in melee range with this person. At least she's not throwing any more magic (at the moment)]

[Jiiii... she's staring at you, deciding whether she should believe you or not]

[Evangeline just stands there, eyeing Mint as if sizing her up for when she tries something next.]

Not a terrible fighter. You know your ranges decently.

You'd best get better at melee combat, though, or you'd fall rather easily to many of the local villains and heroes.

My melee combat is just fine! Mind your own business, you little brat!

[Evangeline's hobby: Testing superheroes.]

[And then, in convincing voice full of shock, she points at something behind Evangeline]

W-what the heck is that?!

[... Should Evangeline fall for it and turn around, Mint's going to be flying at the back of her head with a drop kick. If not... Mint's just going to stand there looking kind of stupid]

[Evangeline just sort of sighs... Humoring Mint for exactly a quarter second in a near-twirl of a step.]

That's a brick wall. Lady Blue put a bunch of those up for some reason. It'd have been funnier to just leave open pits.

... Why am I even wasting time with you, anyway? Stupid little brat...

[And she's going to walk off... after shooting one last lightning bolt at Evangeline, anyway]

[Evangeline takes the lightning bolt with a grin... And then jumps at Mint with her own dropkick once Mint has turned around.]

Don't turn your back on an opponent longer than you have to.

Don't copy me!

[And she's somehow whirling around to counter with her own dropkick... two pairs of feet meeting each other midair...]

[... As the two collided, more force wound up in Evangeline by default of weight, sending her flying and crashing into the lawn. Sputtering, her composure broken, she got up, glaring at Mint.]

I'll copy whoever I well please, fool!

Try copying somebody your own size next time, brat. Are you done yet, or you wanna go another round?

[And then Evangeline charged in... Only to stop exactly a step out of Mint's likely counter, then moving in to catch it and try to knock her over.]

Seriously...? I keep telling you, stop wasting my time...

[If Evangeline was expecting a physical counter... no, that's just a cone of light(white?) magic flying to intercept the shorter girl well before melee range. A little big to avoid with just one step...]

[The result Mint might NOT have expected was Evangeline just running THROUGH the light, seemingly unfazed, and striking at her stomach.]

[Well, Mint can see what Evangeline is doing... so she's going to smack Evangeline with one of her rings (or, at least, try to?) right as she takes the hit to the stomach. She stumbles back a few feet from the blow]

You (expletive)...!

[And... now that's a whirlwind flying at the vampire. Small by natural disaster standards, but large enough to certainly be inconvenient and sweep Evangeline off her feet if she gets caught up in it]

[The strike hits home, but again doesn't seem to do much.
Then comes the tornado which Evangeline responds with a large barrier of ice - freezing a sphere around her to block it, which then shattered as she walked towards Mint again.]

You should use more polite language, you know.

What are you, my grandma? As if I'd be polite to a little brat like you!

[And that's a barrage of fireballs, light rays, lightning bolts... the whole elemental spectrum and then some flying at you, Evangeline. Mint's just getting more pissed off the more that gets shrugged off...]

[... There's probably been a sizable amount of property damage that's been caused by now, even before this part]

[The sheer number of spells inevitably kick up a lot of dust... As the dust clears, however, Evangeline appears to be gone.

Either she hid somehow, or she was obliterated.]

[Looking around, a bit nervous, before absconding the scene]

[As Mint spins to leave the scene... There's Evangeline.]

Very inefficient use of magic. If I wanted, I could have beaten the hell out of you at no less than seventy different junctions. Never mind the sheer amount of propery damage you caused; hero insurance will cover that.

You clearly need better teachers than you've had so far.

[And she snaps right back to normal, since ... yeah, she didn't overdo it! She knew that all along!]

I don't need teachers. [She's self-taught, actually...]

You wanna go again or something?! I didn't see you winning that fight!
