Thanks to someone STEALING the Omegabase (and associated training facilities), Princess Pegasus doesn't have anywhere to practice. On the bright side, heroes of justice always find a way!

So that's why there's an armor-clad, masked heroine practicing in the park today. Over to the side is her pegasus, Sky Dancer, who is watching the proceedings with an air of pained indulgence. Currently, the heroine seems to be in the shadowboxing portion of her regime. Maybe she'd be down to show others? It's worth a shot, right?

Princess Pegasus pauses in her practice to look over at the newcomer.

"Oh! Shooty!"

And then she runs over to say hello, except there's a pebble on the path and she ends up falling flat on her face instead.

Don't worry, that happens a lot.

Shooty--?

[ she actually glances back over her shoulder to see who's being addressed before she realizes that's her nickname apparently, and she can't stop herself from smiling.

She has a nickname! From another hero! oh man if this is the start of some all-powerful super hero tagteam then maybe--

oh uh nevermind ]

H--hey...! [ don't mind her if she hurries forward to try and help you up there, princess ] What'd you even trip over...? Sheesh...

"Oh, there was a rock or something, no big deal!"

Seriously, it happens all the time. As Princess Pegasus brushes herself off, she flashes Shooty a grin.

"You wanna train with me?"

[starsburn]

[ princess, you are a danger to yourself and everyone around you

Shooter doesn't seem that concerned by this though -- rather than making her excuses and running as far away as possible, she just grins and nods eagerly. ]

Yeah! Two heads are better than one, right? Or four fists or whatever. Let's do it!

Fistpump!

"Okay, show me your stance!"

With that, Princess Pegasus adopts something that almost looks like a boxing stance.

[starsburn]

St...ance...?

[ you can practically hear the ??? in her voice. ]

Like, a fighting stance...? Uh...

... I don't have one.

[pega_pony_princess]

Princess Pegasus processes that before dropping out of her stance.

"Well, in that case, just show me how you stand when you're about to start punching bad guys?"

[starsburn]

Uh... I don't really know, but when I punch bad guys, it's usually like--

[ and then she jabs forward with her right fist and an accompanying 'hi-yah!' ]

-- that!

[pega_pony_princess]

Princess Pegasus considers.

"...have you considered doing it more like this?"

With that, she copies Shooty's posture, deliberately makes a few very obvious adjustments to how she's standing, and then punches with a 'wah-tah!'.

[starsburn]

Whoa!

[ THAT ACTUALLY LOOKED PRETTY COOL

Shooter does her best to copy, narrowing her eyes in concentration ]

Do that again, so I can see!

Princess Pegasus obliges, this time with a 'hakeebah!' Then, just to show off a little, she snaps off a couple of kicks.

[starsburn]

Whoa! Whoa, do those kicks again! But slower, so I can copy 'em!

[ shooter you aren't even training at this point, you're just watching Princess. ]

"Kay!"

Princess isn't really 'training' at this point, either, she's just showing off for Shooty.

[starsburn]

[ and Shooter is just watching with an expression of utter glee on her face because this is so cool holy hell ]

What other moves do you have? Like, do you have a special finisher or something?

Princess Pegasus grins, producing her lance - which appears to be made of silver?

"Okay, check this out!"

A blue light glows through the dress of her costume, forming a strange glyph centered around where her belly button would be.

As she takes a stance and lashes out with her lance, sunlight trails behind it for the first, sweeping strike, transmuting into the muted silver glow of moonlight as she twirls it back around into an extended lunge.
