Why is my omegawatch pinging me that I'm late for school. I didn't think I was even signed up for that, but then again I didn't think lions went to school either.

Anyone know what gives? It's not because I got in trouble in Paragon, is it?

[Not that he ever had any intention of going to school in the first place... He's too busy hanging around in the Sigma Spire to do any of that business!

As far as he's concerned, someone is going to have to drag him down there personally before he steps foot near a school. Not after what he's been through at least.]

What's wrong with a lion going to school? You certainly speak well enough to attend, I believe.

[Fortunately for the lion, she has better things to do than drag oversized cats to school. ... okay no, she has nothing better to do, but dragging anything or anybody to school isn't something she wants to do]

There's a lot of things nobody wants to do, but they get done anyway.

I didn't want to deal with hundreds of pesky suitors, but I did. Compared to that, school is easy.

... I feel like I should have prefaced that with something along the lines of, 'Back in my day'.

You're not even that old. How was there a 'back in your day' when you're not even that much older than me?

You didn't deal with teachers who wanted to beat you into the ground for not being a 'good' boy and following orders either, I bet!

Have you ever heard the term 'appearances are deceiving'? Still, it's good to know I appear as youthful as ever!

I didn't have abusive teachers, no. Granted, if any of my old tutors had dared to do such things, they'd likely have ended up punished themselves... if not outright executed! It certainly wouldn't have went well with their pure ideals, I imagine.

People in this place don't judge by appearance all to often, I find. It may very well be that they think it could be a learning opportunity.

In this place? This city maybe. Doesn't really matter. It's an excuse. I don't wanna go. Just because I got in trouble doesn't mean I gotta go to school. And besides it was a long time ago now!

Now that sounds like an excuse to me. As a fellow non-human, I'd really suggest you to take the chance! Scare some people, learn some things! This world's a much more interesting place if you give it a chance instead of moping~
