I could see myself fitting myself a bomb with a quick-burning, audible fuse, which upon ignition would shower the area with glitter and sparkles.

Why, I'd get the shock caused by the bomb and the embarassment of said glitter! And it'd suit me, I think. All that sparkle, that is.
