Simon slips his glasses back on and sighs. He sits on the ground where he is, across from the Kid.

"I'm really sorry, I didn't mean to bring up the past so suddenly like this."

A moment of silence. He looks up and the ashes are still there, puttering away.

"I'm really glad that you and the others made it out ok. I'm sure that it must be hard to get situated in a new place, but.. you won't be alone."
