[The feed reveals an older looking gentleman with blue skin and white hair. His clothes are shabby and he’s wearing a large travelling backpack. If you listen, you can hear the sound of the occasional car passing by. Looks like he’s somewhere on the outskirts of the city.]

Ah, good, it’s working! Hello, I’m.. mm, well, I’ll get to that in a second.

I’m not an Omega Friend, first of all. I’m sort of on a.. “trial period”, I guess you could say... I don’t actually have full control of my powers yet. But that’s why I came here! I’m going to be studying and practicing magic, and I have a better chance learning here than anywhere else! I’m hoping that one day I can join you all in making this city- and the world- a safer place!

Until then... I’m going to be doing the best I can. My name is Simon, but most people know of me as the Ice King.

[He's got a collection of the news clippings and video footage of himself. He knows he's got some slight infamy as a villain.]

I’d prefer not to get into the details right now, but my powers tend to make me lose control of myself.. I believe that it can be harnessed, somehow, but I'll try to keep out of everyone's way until I can get the hang of it. I apologize in advance if I ever do or say anything out of line before that.

[ Though Sherri has very little in the way of facial expressions, it's obvious from the video feed that he's fidgeting nervously as he speaks. Mind you, that might not be entirely on account of Simon - this is the kind of person who can't order a sandwich from the lunch counter without stuttering and awkward pauses. ]

I, ah... well, I shan't ignore the matter... I've heard of you. Ah...

[ Oh god, that came out like 500% more awkward than intended. Um. Well. Someone within the Omegafriends had obviously decided that Simon meant well and that it was worth trying to help him and take him in as a potential hero. If Sherri wanted him not to destroy the city, perhaps he should offer to help? The guy could probably use a psych - or at least someone to follow him around when 'in costume' and make sure civilians didn't get hurt. ]

Silverwing here. I can't say it's the warmest of welcome, but I am glad to hear from you.

If you need help getting your powers under control, I am certainly willing to lend you a hand however I can. It's very brave of you to come forward like this, and I'm glad to see it.

[What can she say? The Ice King has certainly made the news before. She's probably even had to tangle with him once or twice during experiences when his power was getting the better of him, not many of Venture City's heroes know how to deal with magic, after all.]
