So, it's well known that the Omeganetwork isn't the most secure place, though private communications and filters are a thing.
I'd just like to try to talk about if that's necessarily a bad thing. I'm just remembering a few incidents where villains having a reliable line to the heroes was actually a good thing, back in my Silversong days. It actually helped a few names reform, and of course sometimes there's those Enemy Of My Enemy situations can call in some help.
Also, it's just cheaper, and we've kept unauthorized people from getting into the Omegabase, so that's a good sign I think.
What do you guys think?
[Private to George Parley, backdated to Thursday the 12th.]
[Sonicheart's repair lab isn't entirely cleaned up by the time Parley has shown up. Far from it, actually; tools are strewn here and there, with more effort put into getting all the grease off the ground than getting things organized properly. Atop the center table - large enough for a person - are several different mechanical and electrical devices, including one police 'prop bomb' used for training bomb squads.]
Oh, uh, hi!

Oh, uh, hi!

Pulling out a breadboard and some basic parts, Lori provided a quick summary of how circuits work. "Every electrical device on the planet follows these rules... Well, besides magitech. I never understood that stuff."

However she can only hold her attention for so long. About over an hour later she abruptly put her pen down and stretched. "Oof. Okay if I do any more here my brain'll start leaking out my ears."

Lori glanced at the time. "... Yeah, I guess we can stop for now. Meet again next week, maybe?"

She hesitated at the door, then looked back. "Hey uh, they told me there's a second cafeteria somewhere in here with actually GOOD food that you have to pay for, but I can't find it. Do you know where that is?"
