Episode 3: Disaster and a New Villain Approach the City!
This is Dr. Jefferson. The initial test results are back from the transmitter analysis!
Unfortunately, we weren't able to get too much out of it. I'm sure it's communicating with something - still trying to figure out he coordinates of the other side, but I'm pretty confident it's not on Earth.
We also found two messages - one is a heavily encrypted recording of an earlier communication, and the other appears to be for us. Taking both of these into consideration, we've shut the machine down for the time being.
Here's the one for us:
Well done, Omegafools! You managed to find my transmitter, and if you're reading this, you probably also defeated Leader One. However, don't fool yourselves into thinking this means you've beaten me!
You're far too late. My new friend has already locked on to my signal, and will be arriving any day now. Since you have refused to hand the city over to me, prepare to see it destroyed!
Dr. Devious
P.S.: Muahahahaha!!!
And here's what I've been able to get of the encrypted transmission:
[The transmission is a conversation between two voices. The second is Dr. Devious, but the first is an unfamiliar, growling voice, accompanied by a heavily-distorted image.]

"--planet is a difficult thing to find from this distance, Human Devious, let alone a single city."
"Don't worry, Baron. My transmitter is more than up to the task of guiding you here."
"I hope that this is the case. You have been... most helpful, for one of your kind."
"Don't forget our deal. You can have the rest of Earth, but I get Venture City!"
"It shall be yours to do with as you please. A single human settlement is a small price to pay in exchange for reclaiming that which is rightfully ours..."

[He doesn't like that, not one bit. While he has every confidence that the Omegafriends can handle it, it seems like whenever aliens are involved there are a few surprises.]

[He does have a whole preserve of alien species after all ...]

[He's more than willing to, actually. It's just a matter of where to start.]
Although if you wanted to see for yourself, there's actually one in the old reservoir, the one they keep frozen over.

[Even if they're not always friendly, he can understand the appeal to it.]
It's interesting ... maybe not always pleasant, but interesting.

That probe thing? True or just a stereotype?
no subject
Given that I haven't seen anything like that, calling stereotype on this one. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess most of them found out someway of collecting data that's a little less invasive.
no subject
Are any of them actually little and green?
no subject
[Guess which he's run into more often.]

[But, even shooting in the dark, you're bound to hit something if you try long enough. Area 51 is real at least, even if he isn't exactly allowed to talk about it. Even if it's an urban legend, the real thing's still classified.]
irony alert
How do I know YOU'RE not an alien?
