It's been a little bit of a weird week or two for Itsuki. She hadn't been expecting to see those girls out and about fighting evil so close to her house, and it'd been on her mind for a while now. She wasn't sure what to think of it, really. They seemed to be about her age, too, but they were crazy strong. They moved with a certain deadly efficiency, completely different from her learned grace that she hadn't really mastered yet.

Of more concern, though, was the fact that she'd been called out here for some reason, to a park not far from where they'd had that battle before. And not just by anyone - the communication was from Cure Blossom, one of those girls from then! She definitely couldn't turn that down, not when it's from someone so important. Someone that strong and graceful, talking to her? That didn't happen every day, and she was going to capitalize on it.

She doesn't really have a whole lot she's comfortable wearing for something like this, so she's in a plain buttoned shirt and jeans, and hoping she's not going to get dragged along for something important in clothes that are going to be an embarrassment. Too nervous to sit still, she's leaning against a lightpost, checking her phone every two minutes to see if there's a message.

If Itsuki is nervous, Blossom is absolutely sweating buckets. She's standing behind a tree, trying to work up the nerve to finally approach. But... how could she do this out of the blue?! A-and this Itsuki, he was so... so...

It made Tsubomi blush a deep shade of crimson that wasn't thought humanly possible.

Still, she couldn't sit around! Taking a deep breath, she clenched a hand into a fist, and moved to emerge.

"Good evening, brave citizen!" she announced, in her most "heroic" sounding voice... which ended up sounding pretty damn cartoony and fake, all things considered.

Itsuki blinks. And turns to the source of the voice. And... can't help but giggle softly for a second. "I'm sorry, that was too funny, I couldn't help myself. Um, if it helps, you don't need to force yourself around me. I'm pretty impressed with you as it is."

It's certainly helping to relieve her tension, at any rate.

"E-eh? Impressed? With me...?"

Ahhh, dangit Tsubomi, get it together!

She straightened and cleared her throat, walking closer. "U-um, I wanted to talk to you about your helping us out the other day. You were certainly very brave, but I worry those villains may target you in the future..."

"Yes, with you." It's immediate. "You fought pretty hard that day. Not just anyone can do that."

She smiles. "That's probably a fair concern. I'm not terribly worried, but... I hadn't really thought about it. Still, only a fool attacks a martial arts dojo." But there's a seriousness to her tone that suggests she's considering it.

"A-ah..."

Her composure breaks again... before she sucks in a deep breath and straightens up for a second time.

"Yes, well! I'd like you to have a way of getting in contact with me! Err - I mean, me the other Omegafriends, that is...!"

Very delicately, Itsuki raises one eyebrow. "You... what?" Internally, of course, she's screaming; is this how it's going to go? Is this going to get her one of the fabled Omegawatches? She just had to... well, do something that would have gotten a lesser civilian killed, sure. But it's the thought that counts!

"Getting in contact with you? All of you? What did you have in mind...?" Itsuki, don't fangirl all over the poor hero. She might not react well.

"Um... well, it's with one of these!" she reached into the pouch she kept her heart perfume, and provided exactly that, an Omegawatch.

"Um... it comes with some restrictions, but... you should have access to the Omeganet, and you can call anyone if you're ever in trouble...!"

"The... the Omeganet!?" Okay, she can't keep the excitement out of her voice. Everyone knows about the Omeganet! Well, not actually what's on it, or how it truly works, but it's a big thing! Itsuki moves forward, a huge grin on her face, and takes Tsubomi's hands, careful not to make her drop the watch. "Oh, thank you, thank you! This means so much!"

A beat passes before she realizes she's being way too cheery about this, and awkwardly backs off, looking aside, blushing. "S-sorry. I got a little carried away there."

The moment Itsuki took her hand, Tsubomi's face turned a shade of red that could be best described as "red thermometer". She began stammering, before stepping back suddenly.

"D-Don't mention it! It's f-f-for your s-safety after all!"

"Haa..." It takes a second before she recovers; this isn't really like her, on either end of the scale. Still, it's not terrible. And she's having to fight to keep her head in the game - she wants to break into song at the fact that she's finally made the big time, even if in a small way.

Although, the reminder of her safety causes her to snap back to reality just a bit. "Do you really think I'd be in that much trouble from just one incident? Is he really that vindictive?"

"..."

Tsubomi's expression quickly turns serious. "Yes. He is... he's already taken something important from someone... please, don't underestimate him..."

Itsuki immediately sobers. This... might have been a bad idea, in retrospect. She's not a hero - she doesn't have that rumored fringe benefit of an organization to protect one's family while they're off on heroics. She drops Tsubomi's hands, frowning, considering what she's done.

"Okay. I'm going to try to be more careful. I... need to think a little more about how to proceed from here, though. If you're right, I've just put my family in more than a bit of trouble all at once."

Tsubomi frowned again. The burden she must be putting on Itsuki's shoulders.

"Don't worry!" she said, reaching out for their hand. "We'll do everything we can to protect you! I'll do everything I can...!"

Her face colors slightly as Blossom reaches out for her hands again; it's a sweet gesture, and it makes her feel quite a bit better about this. Uh, the protecting thing, not the hands thing. Although that does make her feel more than a little special in a different way, and... um.

"I... I'll be counting on you, then. Thank you, Cure Blossom. Really." And she smiles warmly; there's really nothing she can do to repay it, but maybe she can cheer the girl up somehow...?

Oh. Oh. There's the heavy blush again.

"A-ah, well... don't think anything of it...! I-it's a hero's duty...!"

Despite the high pitched squeak of her voice, though, Tsubomi managed to smile through it all.

Huh. Blossom seems to be taking it even worse than Itsuki is... that's interesting. Worth noting for later, not that she wants to attract the indignant wrath of a superhero by accident.

"Not everyone takes their duty this seriously, though. Some wouldn't bother to come back and check on me."

"Yes, well... in my opinion, I think it's a hero's duty to act this way!" she said, sounding a little more confident.

Sometime after, once on the way home, Itsuki might notice something in particular. Namely: One particular purple haired Precure, perched standing with her arms crossed atop a lightpost, awaiting her.

"Impressive, all things told."

The voice catches her attention; she's not expecting anyone else, and she doesn't see anyone, so-

Ah. Above her. In that most perfect, most traditional of poses. Maybe, someday, she'll be able to do that. "What's so impressive?"

"The way you handled yourself, of course - when Skeletor's henchmen attacked," she says, her tone soft and cool. Her eyes drift off a moment. It wasn't terribly far from here where that happened, was it? "Most people would have run and hid at the very sight of such an ordeal, especially when we were already fighting..."

Her eyes snap back to Itsuki. Making eye contact with her, her gaze stern and unwavering.

"What made you do that?"

The tone puts Itsuki on edge, as much as the steady look. Is she... angry that Itsuki had come to help? "I couldn't let you fight alone. I may not be a hero, but there are things that I can do. Things I should do. It's one of the reasons I learned aikido in the first place."

She pauses, thinking back. She'd admittedly been a little bit scared then, but... "And I couldn't let them get any closer to my house. Someone at the dojo could have been hurt."

Mad? No. Concerned? Oh, yes - for certain. She has far and away enough concern for Tsubomi and Erika as it is. For those within the Omegafriends as well, although she quietly knows that she feels a decided distance between herself and that extended group of heroes. To see someone with no powers throw themselves into that, knowing what can happen to someone who knows what to expect? She feels a decided draw of worry.

She realizes however the questioning can come across as a bit harsh, and tries to soften her expression slightly. Before leaping right of the lightpost, flipping over in the air, and landing gently across from the girl.

"You did a good thing, then. All things told, it was chaotic enough that... the distraction to them probably did us some good," she notes, attempting to also not sound as harsh. This may or may not actually be successful. "You did well, but something like that... It's possible your risk won't end there. Skeletor is not the type to take unforeseen wrinkles to his attacks lightly."

Itsuki fights very, very hard not to flinch as the girl touches down right next to her, and thinks she succeeded readily. Thinking on the evaluation, though, she frowns. "I'm glad I was of use... although I'm hoping nothing bad happens now that I got involved. It hadn't occurred to me at the time that Skeletor might try to get revenge."

She looks at her wrist. "Although, it might not matter as much now, considering what I just got from... Cure Blossom, wasn't it?" There is, in fact, a new Omegawatch glistening in the light there.

"I can't blame you for not realizing it - and in the end, I fully understand you did what you thought you needed to do. Which is why we should really..."

She trails off, and she cocks her head to one side, briefly breaking her stern demeanor to blink at the watch.

Tsubomi was thinking ahead.

"...hm. Yes, perhaps but... you would do well to be careful with that, as well." She frowns. "The dirty little secret of the Omeganet is that we're not the only ones who have been able to gain access to it. You should be careful with that just as well."

Be careful with this, be careful with that. Deep down, there's a part of preaching all of this which Yuri is starting to find irritating, she can only imagine how it is for anyone else.

"But between your own ability and us... Should you ever run across anything peculiar, feel free to ask, and if you have any questions... I suppose I could offer that, too."

You know, so long as one of them wasn't, "who are you?"

It's still good advice, and while the full set of warnings is a little off-putting, it's important enough that she won't complain. Itsuki just nods. "I'll be careful, I promise. I don't want to let harm come to my important people just because I was careless."

Still... Moonlight's being awfully generous for the moment. "I appreciate the offer, but... did I really do something so amazing that's worth all this? Cure Blossom gave me an Omegawatch. You're offering to lend me an ear if something comes up. I don't feel like I did anything worth all this, even if you all keep telling me otherwise."

Moonlight purses her lips and thinks a moment. Under a lot of other circumstances, she makes a good point. All the same - if this is indeed someone who Tsubomi and Erika will be going to school with, if she's become even a blip on Skeletor's radar...

"Not many people would have done that, necessarily," she says quietly. "With as many heroes as there are in this city, I figure there are far and away enough who would just put their faith in that presence. You acted, however - that's both commendable and something that could place you in a lot of danger. I have..."

Her eyes shift away, enough that eye contact is broken.

"I have seen what happens when someone who doesn't have the power we do gets in the way of Skeletor. I can't stop anyone from doing that, but I'll do whatever I can to prevent it from happening again."

Itsuki hums at that. "I can understand that. I know I put a lot of faith in everyone myself. But still... this is my city, too. Even if it's only something small, I want to take responsibility for helping to protect it. The power I have in these hands... I won't sit idly by, whatever the challenge.

"Even if it puts me in a little danger. Although... this sounds like a lot more danger than I was expecting. And I appreciate your kindness, Cure Moonlight. I won't go down without a fight if something happens, but I know when to cut my losses."

Moonlight looks back, and at this point she actually smiles. It's only slight, and it's a thin one, but it's there all the same. "I'm glad to hear that, then. It's good to be strong enough to be able to stand up for what you believe in... but only if you're smart about it. So if you ever do need to cut those losses..."

She nods to the watch again.

"You'll know how to find us, and we will be there."

"You have my word. I'm reckless, not stupid. I just hope I never need to use it."

Silence for a moment, and then she decides to ask the question that's been nagging at her for a few minutes now.

"How did you know I'd be here?"

Moonlight's smile remains, but that bit of worry remains in her eyes. She might hope it never has to be used... but things rarely worked out so easily. "Hopefully not, but... it's better safe than sorry, isn't it?"

A pause, then. She was perceptive, too - luckily, she's considered such a moment.

"You were defending your home before, weren't you? This is near where that attack was, so... It wasn't hard to figure out you might be around here."
