These Hands Have Not Been Idle

Things have been quiet from the subdimensional plane that Snake Mountain exists on, but that doesn't mean that things have not been busy. No, the overlord of that place has been hard at work and now that work has come to fruition. And at such a happy time, with the Omegafriends in chaos thanks to Lady Blue's handiwork.
Skeletor stands before his newest creation, a machine of twisted black metal and gears, and chuckles darkly to himself. Panthor snarls at his side.
"At last, after weeks of work, it's finally done. All that remains..." a clawed hand emerges from beneath his cloak, holding half of a small purple stone. A trophy from a battle from long ago, and now an important component in his plans, "... is the final piece."
Eye sockets blazing he steps forward and places the Precure Seed into its place at the center of the twisted mechanism. Immediately the device hums to life and begins churning and spinning.
"Yes! It works!" He spins around, sending out the call to his Warriors stationed throughout the city. "Begin the attack!"
One by one the assaults begin as Skeletor's agents located throughout the city surge into action.
The Venture City zoo is thrown into chaos as one of the enclosures explodes outward. Several huge, horned and thick-hided monstrosities charging out and crushing everything in their path.
In the middle of the park, a peaceful artificial lake becomes a scene of panic as a scaley tentacled horror erupts from the middle of it and launches an assault on the unfortunate picnickers.
And even the busy streets of Venture City are not safe. All around vending machines are morphing into bizarre robotic creatures that open fire on the populace with sugary, fizzy explosives!
Watching all of this through the eyes of his scattered Doomseeker's, Skeletor's laughter echoes through his stronghold.
[OOC: You didn't think he was gone, did you? Not even close! Skeletor is taking advantage of the Omegafriends' dissaray to hatch his newest vile scheme! All are welcome to deal with these threats (or cook up your own if you're so inclined). Just note where your characters are and let me know if you need some NPCing of monsters and/or Evil Warriors.
Also, for any of his PC minions reading this feel free to jump in with your own chaos-spreading creations.]

Who: Itsuki, Parley (
distorts_space), open to other folks too
When: Sunday, August 10th (backdated)
Where: Myoudouin Dojo
What: The dojo has an exhibition today, and that means the heir is in combat. Combat can take some weird turns sometimes, though...
Every so often - maybe a couple times a month, sometimes more, sometimes less, it depends on how the Myoudouin patriarch is feeling - the Myoudouin Dojo opens its doors for a public exhibition match or several. Usually, these are arranged, but on occasion he'll take other folks that he knows are (or that claim to be) strong enough to let Itsuki give a good showing. Or remind her that she's not as strong as she wishes she were, in some cases, though that hasn't happened lately.
Today is one such day; there have been flyers posted around the city for several days now, as it's always a good spectacle to watch trained martial artists in their element. The main event is a spar; it's of course not the only event taking place today. Everyone has a role, from the lower-ranked students breaking boards and answering questions (and making sure nobody gets too close), to the higher-ranks demonstrating techniques, escapes, and general badassery. It's kind of an impromptu open house, which helps bolster enrollment rates aside from being a big to-do.
The fighters for the spar, though... that part may surprise folks. Not that Itsuki's fazed by that part; that's far from her mind, right now. The person she's facing today is someone she likes to think she can call a friend, and that means Itsuki needs to put on a good show, for more than just the crowd she already knows will assemble. Has assembled; it's only a few minutes to showtime at this point. She's left Potpourri asleep in her room, thankfully undiscovered thus far, so she only has one thing on her mind right now.
[[Itsuki is slated to spar with Parley; that fight has a particular ending, which mandates that Itsuki may or may not be back at its end. She'll be around to mingle before things start, though. And there's plenty of time for questions and commentary.]]

It's been a little bit of a weird week or two for Itsuki. She hadn't been expecting to see those girls out and about fighting evil so close to her house, and it'd been on her mind for a while now. She wasn't sure what to think of it, really. They seemed to be about her age, too, but they were crazy strong. They moved with a certain deadly efficiency, completely different from her learned grace that she hadn't really mastered yet.
Of more concern, though, was the fact that she'd been called out here for some reason, to a park not far from where they'd had that battle before. And not just by anyone - the communication was from Cure Blossom, one of those girls from then! She definitely couldn't turn that down, not when it's from someone so important. Someone that strong and graceful, talking to her? That didn't happen every day, and she was going to capitalize on it.
She doesn't really have a whole lot she's comfortable wearing for something like this, so she's in a plain buttoned shirt and jeans, and hoping she's not going to get dragged along for something important in clothes that are going to be an embarrassment. Too nervous to sit still, she's leaning against a lightpost, checking her phone every two minutes to see if there's a message.

[A few weeks ago, there was a message sent to the Omegabase from Mystero, Master of the Mind, informing them that he was sending his daughter to Venture City to train with the Omegafriends in hopes of developing her as of yet dormant psychic powers.
Well, she's here.]
So, I guess Mystero told you what I'm doing here. What with Dr. Devious and the confusion of flying half way around the planet, I never really heard who agreed to help out.
I'm already getting antsy here. Any learnable skills you've got, I'll take a shot at learning them. If you're willing to teach them, that is.

Tsubomi had been enjoying her time with her new friend (and fellow Precure), but it was easy to say that Erika was... well, exhausting. But she did appreciate what the more exuberant girl was trying to do for her, and... well, she'd be starting at a new school next term, and Erika seemed to know everyone better than she did.
So, she'd let the other girl drag her out of the house that day.
"So, um, Erika..." she said. "Where exactly are we going...?"
Of course, the fact she was only asking for specifics now was something Tsubomi wished she'd instead done sooner.

[Appearing on the Omeganet for the first time, shortly after her first victory: A ridiculous magical girl!]
Is this real? IT'S REAL! A real Omegawatch, and it's mine! I'm an Omegafriend! This is so awesome!
Hello, Omegafriends, I'm Cure Marine! If you know Cure Blossom or Cure Moonlight, I'm their new team member! I'm gonna help out with the whole evil-defeating thing from now on!
[action]

[Later, barging into the Omegabase: The second-smallest Omegafriend on file! Probably!]
[You can just see the stars in them eyes.]
SO COOL.
So this is the Omegabase, huh? What kind of cool Omegastuff do we have hanging around here?
[Omegastuff.]

[Posted to the Venture City High School forums, which I just decided are a thing.]
Greetings, citizens! Some of you may be hearing some unsettling rumors about the future of the School Newspaper. I am here to assure you all that, aside from the one about the restraining order, they are completely correct!
I, Aya Shameimaru, am stepping down as chief editor. The newspaper will hereafter be left in the capable hands of my former associates. Going forward, I shall be moving on to pastures new, at a little place called the Daily Venture! Maybe you've heard of it. It's only the most widely-distributed newspaper in Venture City. I'm working for them now. For money, even.
That is all. Some of you, I shall no doubt see over the summer. For the rest of you, I look forward to our next meeting come senior year!
The truth waits for no one,
Aya Shameimaru, Teen Reporter
[Yes, she actually signed her message as Teen Reporter.]
