So, I feel that it was time enough for it. We seem to be in the midst of a surge of activity on part of both heroes and villains in this city, and I wanted to personally bid you all a warm greeting.

I am the great, the powerful, the brilliant Dr. Eggman! You may have encountered my robotic legions in the past, or you may simply know me by reputation. I assure you, it quite precedes me!

For all you heroes, I'd like to thank you personally for playing this game. On behalf of all us visionaries and so-called villains, I have to say, it'd be quite boring without your efforts to stop us. That said, while you've been passable, it behooves you to, how do you say, step it up.

As for my brothers-in-evil, well... I'd personally like to offer my assistance. It'd be much better if we all worked together to make a name for ourselves, hm? It'd be so petty of us to fight amongst ourselves... even if it would be quite amusing!

That's all I wanted to say, really. All of you have a nice day, alright? I assure you, many worse ones are coming!

With that, the Captain Shy Guy transmits the coordinates of the meeting. Sometime soon in an area along the outskirts. A place meddling heroes wouldn't bother them.

[and so, Eggman arrives at the location in his eggmobile with an escort of Egg Flappers]

And General Guy is there, waiting, with his tank, and a retinue of Shy Guys. There is also a single black colored Shy Guy with them as well, standing gloomily in the back.

"Greetings, sir." He gives a small smile, standing on his tank now, clearly happy with himself. Even if his tank looks silly.

"Hello there," Eggman said, sounding cordial. "I am assuming you are then prestigious 'General Guy'! As you already know, I am Dr. Eggman!"

He does a bit of a bow, grinning from ear to ear. "Now, let's see this opportunity you are offering me, hm?"

[generallyaguy]

General Guy saluted in return. "Your vaunted Genius is something I have heard of as well, Sir. As for our trade, I was interested in either an alliance, where we can control the city together with a combination of my incredible loyal, large, and diverse manpower, or we can trade in some manner. I think an alliance would benefit us more, but I'm sure we can find things to trade in. I have many artifacts from where I come from that might be of interest to you."

"An alliance, eh?" he said. "Now, an alliance does not preclude a trade of some kind, now does it? I mean, we will be lending each other resources in such an arrangement, yes? I could augment your army with cybernetics, perhaps..."

There's the faintest glimmer in Eggman's eye as he says that last part.

[generallyaguy]

"Well, we will exchange resources and training. I would prefer my men to remain un-augmented, I was more looking for technical training than the augmentation. Though the Alien Guys may perhaps be interested. But yes, assistance and support will be included in our alliance, Sir."

[ivegotthemasterplan]

"I'm afraid training isn't a concern for my forces," Eggman replied. "They ARE machines, after all. But perhaps they would be better served for testing my new weapons systems? Your people look... hardy."

Aka disposable.

"YOU WOULD DARE SUGGEST I WOULD WASTE MY FORCES ON SUCH AN EXERCISE!?"

Do not suggest such things to someone who considers himself a father to his men!

"Calm down, calm down."

Eggman did his best to look friendly... which actually wasn't that difficult.

"I merely meant that I was sure they could take it. Your forces would clearly survive such a thing, while also helping them to build endurance and battle skill!"

General Guy needed a moment to compose himself.

"While I appreciate the compliment, I have no desire to put them in harms way. I do have appropriate testing grounds for weapons, however, at my base along with proper targets. The Snifits and Gunner Guys need plenty of training."

"That sounds like it would be more than enough," Eggman replied, keeping the cordial veneer while mentally cursing the lost opportunity.

[generallyaguy]

General Guy considered him and his big nosedness for a few moments as he walked across the top of his tank.

"What do you have in return?"

[ivegotthemasterplan]

"Why, technology of course! Bases from which you can operate! Of course, you'd have to pay rent for some of these. I can also offer weapons and perhaps even a few "Guy" versions of by Egg Pawns...!"

[generallyaguy]

He considered things for a few moments before huffing. "I think the weapons would be more interest than Egg Pawns. Others have created Shy Guys before and it's never turned out well."

[ivegotthemasterplan]

"Suit yourself," Eggman replied, with a nod. "Does it seem like we have an agreement, then?"

[generallyaguy]

"I believe so. Do you have a contract or shall we agree with a handshake?"

[ivegotthemasterplan]

"I would doubt a contract between villains would hold up to legal scrutiny," said Eggman, holding out his hand. "So let's settle upon a handshake."

[generallyaguy]

General Guy jumped down from his tank before shaking the hand of Robotnik. "So be it, sir." He released the hand before returning to the Tank, having quite good jumping prowess.

"Indeed," he said, laughing. "Except your first shipment of weaponry in a week."

"We'll put them through their paces, and send you the data."
