[Ben's browsing a bit before reserving his copy of the game. All sorts of cool stuff, but being a superhero, he probably won't find the time to play much of them. Still, he's available for all sorts of geekery until the next disaster strikes.]

I mean, yeah, Kenko the Shapeshifter is now on Ishiyama's side which is kinda weird, but it's starting to get really good!

Kinda. Though Kenko didn't want to help at first. He was convinced, though, when one of Ishiyama's allies sacrificed his life to save him. Sorta like payback.

See this is what I'm talking about! Why on Earth would they sacrifice themselves to save the bad guy? I bet the ally will come back by the end of the season too. All "lol j/k not ded"

[Today is dog disguise day again. Having stashed his equipment and retracted his antennae, 626 is checking out the game store as well, browsing for a couple of destructive games to tide him over until he decides to rampage again.

At least that was the plan until the store clerk decided to shoo him away. 626 doesn't appreciate this and rather than actually be shooed out the door, he growls in annoyance.]

Bark bark!

Stiiiiiiiitch. <3 Ben can has alien DNA?

[Ben looks up from his intense study of the available handhelds as the clerk keeps trying to shoo the little koala...thing...]

[He crouches down, looking at it.]

Huh. You're kinda cute.

[And the clerk starts glaring at Ben accusingly. Because, clearly, this must be his dog.]

Of course he can. ^^

[626 perk his ears up and tilts his head at Ben. Then the clerk kind of rudely tells Ben that if this is his dog then he can take it and leave, and 626 plops his but down on the ground giving the man a narrow-eyed stare.]

Look, he's not my--

[The watch suddenly starts beeping shrilly, the face flashing...yellow? The manager covers his ears, and Ben's tempted to do the same. The only thing that stops him is the fact that lifting his hands will mean lifting the watch closer to his ear.]

Sorry! My dad lost the manual for this!

[He takes off his jacket and attempts to smother the racket by wrapping the watch up in it. What a time for this thing to be weird!]

This was meant to be!

[What the heck is that noise? It's almost painful! 626 pulls his ears down and closed to muffle it and scrries toward the counter and over it.]

I'll just come back later for the game!

[Aaand gonna hurry out the door and head into the alley on the side of the building. He pops up the dial and starts rotating it this way and that.]

Shut up! Jeez, what is wrong with you?!

[Wait. Where'd the dog go?]

[He's coming out the back door, so directly into the alley. He hadn't thought Ben would come towards the alley so it seemed the natural solution to exit this door. But there he is, fiddling with that obnoxious watch.

Whoops]

[Ben doesn't notice the little guy right away, trying to get the watch to shut up when it suddenly emits a beam of yellow light that sweeps over the "dog".]

What the heck are you doing?!

[The light stops and the Omnitrix turns green again. It flashes as it speaks...in Ben's voice which leaves Ben himself speechless.]

B. Game Go!

[Look who's sitting by the Playtendo station? Shadow is chatting up one of the clerks who has apparently, and thankfully, gotten over the 'talking lion' thing. He's asking for a copy of the new Kakoimon game.]

Shadow! Hey, buddy!

[Ben grins as he walks over to the talking lion.]

Ben! What's up?

[He clearly has not yet seen the rumblr post, or just doesn't know to look there. As for the clerk, he is given the small square box with the cartridge inside. Such a kids game, Kakoimon.]

Not much. Here to pre-order the latest Sumo Slammers game.

[He grins and looks at the box.] "Kakoimon"?

Yup. You catch monsters and fight them. It's cool.

[And it's one of the few games he can actually play since it's at his own pace and all.]

Huh. Is it any fun?

I think so. Guess it's kinda like my 'Sumo Slammers.'

And also, the show is pretty good so far.

I'll have to look it up. Sounds kinda cool.
