One second, Shepard was winding down in the Omegabase.
The next, she was standing in the park with her toothbrush in her mouth and a confused look on her face.
Five minutes after that, she's started to get a handle on the situation, or at least as much as anyone else has, and starts trying to get back into the base.

[Shepard looks irritated, not to mention underdressed compared to her previous appearance in a uniform, but she keeps her tone level and commanding.]
Alright. Friendly neighborhood UN Observer here. Is everyone accounted for? We need to start pooling information. Anybody finds a working elevator, let us know - I haven't heard of a connected one yet. Anybody has the ability to safely get through those rock walls, let us know, but get all the writing off of them first. Anybody who knows anything about what could have caused this, explain it to me, I only took two semesters of physics.
