[Watch out, Venture City! There's a new superhero in town! And by new, we mean "old" but with a remodeled appearance.

The sleek, white and green armor of this hero doesn't escape attention, if the photos in the newspaper later are any intention. Whoever it is, he seems to largely keep to lower-impact crimes -- robberies, muggings, and so on and so forth. And who is this remarkable hero? Why, it's Wild Tiger, of course!

You may, as a result, find him in three different locations:

a.) Patrolling the streets of Venture City in a motorcycle.
b.) Stopping for a bit of press coverage. Because hey, even he likes attention.
c.) Being his usual "leap before you look" Wild Tiger self and... er, misstepping in the wrong place. ...How's your princess carry technique?]

"OH YEAHH guys and gals! We've kicked Dino butt, we've kicked Slade butt, and now, the Omega Spire is open and I'm ready to party like it's 2099! We got all the free pizza you can eat, and I installed a soda fountain with 42 varieties of flavor! We've got the dance floor, we've got the tunes, AND (for those of you who don't like to dance) we've got a Smash Cousins tournament on a 20-foot Ultra HD screen! (I call dibs on Burro Kong.) Oh, and bring a swim suit if you want, because the pool here is kickin'!

All the teen heroes better be here, ya hear me? And bring a friend. Doors open at 5pm.

Oh, and ya villains can stay at home."

[ACTION 1; NEAR CLINKERS -- FOR JOJI]

[This seemed like the right place all right. The nice thing is that he doesn't have to lie to Kaede anymore about where he's going, although she does fuss over him a bit now. He's still not sure what this is going to entail; he knows he's basically fighting against nature, or what amounts to it in regards to supers. But if he can just stretch things a few more years, that's all he can ask for. And maybe after that, stick with consulting? Who knows.

He wonders how he'll know who he's meeting. Then again, it's not like there's that many people around here.]

[ACTION 2; BACK AT OMEGABASE]

[Once THAT errand was taken care of, all that remained was the matter of meeting his new, er... student? Ward? He's not sure what you call it. Is he just trying to make sure the kid doesn't try to break open any more zoos? He wonders.

He also yawns. Hey, he's been running around today, give him a break.]

[Some people might've seen this guy before. Granted, he used to be a lot more elaborately dressed, but he's been known to do that simple domino mask thing too like he's doing now. Why not the full costume, though?]

Yo! So I hear you guys could use someone with a little more experience on your team! Well, don't worry about a thing! I'm Wild Tiger, and I'm gonna help some of you newbies get into shape properly! Now I know, technically I'm new to the Omegafriends, but I was an ALPHA Pal before! And you probably saw me on the news a few times after that. I think I can help teach a thing or two about the business -- not to mention put a few supervillains away myself!

But, you know, a fresh start needs a fresh costume, and as much as I love the old traditional getup, I think I could use a new image, you know? So we got any tech gurus out there who know a thing or two about a good outfit? I got some ideas I wanna put by ya!

[Some of the older Omegafriends might actually know WHY his old costume isn't wearable anymore... and that he's not filling in people on a dirty little secret that nearly got him killed a year or two back. Hmm.]

[Boooooooooooored.

Here he is, sitting at the bar when Dr. Devious had planted some sort of crazy device in town, and he couldn't even go out to look for it. Yes, okay, maybe he shouldn't still be following the Omegafriends feed. But he was a hero, damnit, a hero! Why shouldn't he know about this stuff! He should be helping too!

Except, well. The last time he'd timed it, his power had dwindled to one minute. One. Hardly enough time for much of anything. At this point, he'd probably be more of a liability than an asset, especially since he didn't really have any way to check how much time he had left in the heat of battle. Best to let all the new kids handle this sort of thing. Granted, Kaede was getting tired of seeing him lounge around when he wasn't helping his brother with the family business, but this was still all for the best, right?

...booooooooooooooooored. He sips his shochu sour. If nothing else, maybe one of the old guard will show up again tonight.]

Dr. Devious, truly a deadly foe if ever we faced one! But never fear, Omegafriends, for evil never triumphs in the end!

As to Dr. Devious, I have faced her ilk before. I'm confident she'll fold nicely under a direct confrontation, but actually MANAGING that confrontation is surprisingly tricky. Have any of you considered searching for her lair instead of her device? Doing what a mastermind suggests you do rarely works out well.

[Action]

[Robert Parr: ordinary citizen and definitely NOT a retired superhero. Today he's taken a stop on his way home from work to do some every day heroism: Pick up the dry cleaning, grab some ground beef for dinner, and look into getting the car window replaced. As such, any other totally ordinary citizens of Venture City can find a large, extremely bored looking man at the dry cleaners, the supermarket, or the autoshop. Ah, the daily grind!]

[Later, at home]
As always, Bob getting home is accompanied by a slight jolt through the house as he closes the door. Fortunately, the house was built with super strength in mind. He's only accidentally pulled the door off of the hinges ONCE.

"I'm home! They were out of the normal beef, so I had to get the organic kind."
